Welcome to the forest cruise through the wilderness!
Lukasz Kraskowski is a Polish wildlife photographer and filmmaker based in Ottawa, Canada, operating under the social media brand Woodland Pirates. After moving to Canada, he immediately fell in love with the country’s vast wilderness. Focused on the quietest and most elusive inhabitants of the boreal forest, he specializes in documenting owls and other wildlife across Canada’s most remote landscapes.
From tracking elusive species through hot, humid summers to documenting northern wilderness in deep winter snow, his work strives to capture authentic, unscripted moments in nature. Lukasz’s goal is to bring the untamed beauty of the North closer to those who cherish it, sharing photos and videos that inspire the same deep connection to the wild that drives his passion.
